Adobe releases urgent Flash Player security update

Adobe has urged PC, Mac, Linux and Android users to download a critical update for Flash Player, in order to mitigate an attack that has already been reported in the wild.According to Adobe, various vulnerabilities in Flash Player "could cause a crash and potentially allow an attacker to take control of the affected system".

PC World, Currys pull Toshiba tablet days after launch

Currys and PC World have effectively pulled Toshiba's Folio 100 tablet just days after putting it on sale, according to reports.In a discussion that cited problems with the Android device's Flash playback and other issues, Modaco forum members wrote on Sunday that Dixons Group staff had been told to keep the tablets on display, but increase the price to £999 in a bid to discourage purchases, so as to avoid the high return rate the retail chain has been experiencing with Toshiba's £329 tablets.

Google considering speech-to-speech translation
