The multi-channel video-on-demand scheme that is currently known as Project Kangaroo - think an iPlayer that includes not only the BBC but also ITV and Channel 4 - has a problem.The Competition Commission (CC) has been looking into it, and their provisional findings, released early on Wednesday, suggest that Kangaroo remains too anti-competitive for their liking.
Much good discussion has come out of the GM/Apprentice ad campaign for the Chevy Tahoe that generated thousand of remixed video ads. Forrester's Charlene Li has the positive and reasonable spin on the outcome:While some people point to this campaign as an example of the failure of viral marketing and social computing, I think it points to a great success.
