Google signals datacentre doubling

Google may be ramping up spending on datacentres, though whether the money is going on new sites or upgrading existing ones is unknown.In Google's quarter two financial results (Q2 2010) the search titan disclosed that it had made $476m (£312m) in capital expenditures, the "majority of which was related to IT infrastructure investments, including datacentres, servers and networking equipment.
