Google Nexus 5 review: Great value for money

Given its specification and performance, the Nexus 5 delivers great value for money — if you can live with its (few) drawbacks. The middling-quality camera and uninspiring chassis design don't worry us, but the lack of MicroSD card storage expansion and moderate battery life are more serious minus points.

Google's Nexus S runs Android 2.3 at good speed, has a high-quality 4in. Super AMOLED screen, front and rear cameras, and delivers decent battery life. We like it, and if it had a microSD card slot we'd like it even more.

However, by virtue of being an online application, users with a slow connection will experience lag, and Docs still doesn't contain enough functionality to be a replacement for today's mainstay office suites in most businesses.
