Red Hat: Open cloud requires open APIs and stacks

Red Hat announced the release of its Deltacloud 1.0 API last week and insisted that a truly open cloud requires open APIs as well as open source cloud platforms such as OpenStack. Microsoft Intune cloud service gets UK launch date

Microsoft has announced that its cloud-based PC management software, known as Intune, will be available to purchase from 23 March.The service has been available in its second beta form since July — the first beta launched in April 2010 — and provides cloud-hosted PC management tools appropriate for small-to-mid sized businesses and enterprises, the company said in a blog post on Monday.
