Customs blames users in IT debacle

Hutchison to boost 3G security and performance

Hutchison Telecommunications will increase the performance and security of its third generation (3G) high speed mobile phone service in Australia by upgrading its Cisco network.Hutchison, which already employs Cisco's routers and switches, said on Wednesday it was upgrading its data centre in Sydney with the Cisco 12000 Series routing platform and deploying Cisco's Intrusion Detection System (IDS) to help detect viruses and any unusual activity.
