Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch review

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch is attractive and solidly built, with an excellent touchscreen and a great keyboard. However, we'd like to see more ports and a removable battery at the very least. As it stands, this ultrabook is too expensive for widespread deployment.

Lenovo passes Dell to become No 2 in PCs, says iSuppli

China's Lenovo has become the world's second largest PC supplier, ahead of Dell, according to US-based market research company IHS iSuppli. The jump in status was based on the strength of the Chinese PC market, Lenovo's venture with NEC to supply the Japanese market, and the acquisition of Medion, which sells attractively-priced PCs via special offers in European supermarkets.
