Nokia's MeeGo smartphone OS 'appears' on YouTube

A video has appeared on YouTube that purports to show Nokia's implementation of the upcoming MeeGo mobile operating system.The MeeGo Linux distribution, announced in February, is the child of Nokia's Maemo OS — as used in the N900 smartphone — and Intel's netbook-centric Moblin distro.

Placing odds on a Google netbook, smartbooks at CES

It remains to be seen whether Google will sell a branded smartphone (though it seems increasingly likely), but after a day or two of all Nexus One, all the time, the world has moved on to rumors of yet another Google-branded device. TechCrunch reported that Google will release its own netbook in time for the holidays next year.
