TalkTalk 'most complained-about ISP' for fifth time

TalkTalk has maintained its position as the UK's most complained-about broadband provider for the fifth quarter running.The company beat fellow ISPs Sky, BT, Orange and Virgin to hold onto the dubious honour for the first quarter of this year, according to data published by communications regulator Ofcom on Tuesday.

Everything Everywhere LTE spectrum sale nears

Everything Everywhere, the mobile operator combining the UK T-Mobile and Orange networks, has appointed Morgan Stanley to oversee the sale of part of its 1800MHz spectrum.The sale, a regulatory condition set when the networks merged in 2010, will potentially give its competitors a chance to roll out 4G LTE wireless data in advance of Ofcom auctioning off new spectrum at 800 and 2600 MHz for these services.

Orange juices up EU data-roaming plans

Orange has launched a new roaming bundle for its contract, dongle and small business customers that provides 30MB of data usage within the EU for £3 per day.The company notes that if the customer does not use the bundle on a particular day, they will not be billed for it, meaning that it can be bought in advance of travelling and used when necessary.

Orange has introduced a new range of data tariffs aimed at business customers.The new data rates, known as Business Everywhere, allow Orange business customers to choose the amount of data, length of contract and an optional device to access the service, the company said on Tuesday.

Everything Everywhere drops spectrum refarming threat
