After the Snapdragon 810 fell short, Qualcomm is seeking to regain its edge over the competition with the Snapdragon 820, which combines cutting-edge wireless, a custom 64-bit CPU, and loads of other processing engines. If it can deliver, the Snapdragon 820 platform should power some amazing tablets and smartphones.
