Apple offers all iPhone 4 users free cases to solve antenna issue

Apple has offered all iPhone 4 users free cases to mitigate the drop-off in signal experienced by some who touch the handset inappropriately.In a hastily-convened press conference on Friday, Steve Jobs theorised that the antenna problem had been exacerbated by the fact that, because those upgrading from the iPhone 3G or 3GS to the iPhone were buying a phone with a new physical design (the 3G and 3GS could use the same case), not enough people were using the phone with cases.

Next-generation students want careers in computing

Generation Z, the term referring to today's teenagers who have yet to finish their studies or enter higher education, see the computing and technology industry as being their most likely choice of career.In an online survey of just over 1,800 Australian teenagers, those aged between 12 and 18, say they would rather land themselves a career in technology based jobs, rather than careers in graphics design, teaching and acting.

SAP Business By Design likely to be delayed

Sketchy reports coming out of Germany are saying that SAP's Business By Design is likely to be delayed. According to Handelsblatt:An SAP developer speaking to Handelsblatt claimed (in German) that ByDesign was suffering from performance issues and bugs that would delay general availability until perhaps the end of 2009.
