Power surge blamed for BT broadband outage

BT's big broadband outage on Monday was caused by a power surge, the telco has said.The outage, which affected hundreds of thousands of customers around the UK, was originally put down to a power failure, but a BT spokesman told ZDNet UK on Tuesday that a surge had been to blame.

HP ProBook 4310s

The ProBook 4310s is an unremarkable 13.3in. notebook that's bulkier than we'd like and delivers disappointing battery life. The price is competitive, though, and the keyboard is comfortable to use.
