iOS LogMeIn Ignition update adds file-system access

An update to the LogMeIn Ignition app for iOS devices, such as the iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch, now allows users to perform file-management tasks, in addition to remotely accessing the desktop of other computers.The new version of the iOS app allows users to directly access a computer's file system to view, move, edit, or copy files and folders to a local device for offline viewing.

Leostream has launched an upgraded version of its VDI connection broker that offers support for VMware View as well as Apple's iPad, iPhone and iTouch devices.Connection Broker 7, which was officially announced at the beginning of VMWare's VMWorld, also offers new policy-based provisioning, refined cluster services, enhanced OpenLDAP support (eliminates requirement for Active Directory deployment), local user access management, enhanced reporting capabilities and better failover.

BitTorrent-powered iPhone App Store in beta

I don't know too many iPhone users that would call themselves dissatisfied with the App Store, but many people cross over to the dark side and jailbreak their phones to get access to software we'll never see in the App Store.There are numerous reasons why people jailbreak their iPhones, including unlocking, tethering, file management/editing, themes, preferences and the list goes on.
