Adobe releases Reader for iOS

Adobe has put out a version of its PDF reader software for Apple's iOS, addressing devices including the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.The free and fully-featured Adobe Reader hit iTunes on Monday, allowing users to read PDF portfolios and password-protected PDF files.

Canonical launches Ubuntu One Android cloud app

Canonical has released an Android app that lets people access files stored on their Ubuntu One cloud accounts.Ubuntu One is a service similar to Dropbox or Apple's iCloud, in that it lets people synchronise and share files between various client devices.

iOS LogMeIn Ignition update adds file-system access

An update to the LogMeIn Ignition app for iOS devices, such as the iPad 2, iPhone 4 and iPod Touch, now allows users to perform file-management tasks, in addition to remotely accessing the desktop of other computers.The new version of the iOS app allows users to directly access a computer's file system to view, move, edit, or copy files and folders to a local device for offline viewing.
