Wallop got a new look tonight and the revamped interface makes the application a lot easier to use and a lot more like a typical social network. There's still a lot of life in this company and this looks like a big step forward for one of the cooler Flash applications on the web.
Wallop started off with a bang and hit the world pretty loud and large. Since then things seem to have quieted down but I was able to talk with the founders and got some interesting numbers. They've had over 17,000 transactions within the Wallop marketplace and there are over 700 "modders" of which some have started to cash checks from the service. This social networking site with a unique approach and a unique business model seems to be making some traction.
