In this week's Sex Tech, a Reddit dad gives his teen son a malware-savvy 'porn talk' while researchers claim that social media is as irresistible as smoking and sexual pursuits.

Facebook as tempting as sex?

Social media is being compared to sex and cigarettes by researchers - and while it may speed up aging like smoking, I think many of us will only agree that Facebook is more like masturbation than anything else.

Researchers at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business claim the desire to indulge in Facebook, Twitter and other social-media pastimes is among the strongest temptations we now face — right up there with sex and cigarettes.

I wonder if perhaps their study subjects don't like sex.

Porn tube site says "save the boobies"

A YouTube style porn site has decided to turn breast related searches into donations to fight breast cancer.

PornHub.com is offering to pay one cent for every 30 unique page views on its “small tits” and “big tits” videos this month to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Wherein the 'porn talk' is a lesson in malware safety

You might have missed this great Reddit post by a dad who found porn in his son’s browser history, and how he approached having “the talk” with his kid about online porn - it's well worth a read.

Spoiler alert: it’s great, and very tech savvy.

  • Porn watching son needs to tell dad...

Dad explains to son the biggest reason for not visiting porn sites is because they will load his computer full of malware. Son should reply: "That's a great reason for our switching to Macs, Dad!"
