Roundtable: Security holes that enterprise mobility creates [full video]

ZDNet gathered several market players in a roundtable discussion held in Singapore, and asked if organizations in Asia were doing enough today to support bring-your-own-device adoption.

SINGAPORE--Despite the increasing use of personal devices at work, most organizations in Asia still do not have proper policies in place to govern bring-your-own-device (BYOD) adoption. 

According to a recent survey conducted by VMWare, 60 percent of respondents in Asia-Pacific would "try and make it work" on their own if there was no IT support for personal devices in their office. Another 63 percent would "Google for an answer".

So, like it or not, employees are going to use their personal mobile devices to work and access corporate networks. 

What does this then mean for companies in terms of security? ZDNet gathered several market players in a roundtable discussion held in Singapore, and asked if organizations in Asia were doing enough today to support BYOD and the mobile enterprise era.
