Trend Micro's Custom Defense Services

-improves detection, analysis, adaptation and response to minimize risk and impact of these targeted attacks

-Deep Discovery, the product's core provides network monitoring through custom sandboxing and real-time intelligence

As the threat landscape evolves to be more localized, the creation of country-focused labs such as TrendLabs Singapore will improve SLA response time for local customers and strengthen its big data analytics capabilities, Bill McGee, senior vice president and general manager at Trend Micro's cloud and data center security, noted speaking at the event.

The security vendor is also partnering local security service provider e-Cop. Singapore is the first Asia-Pacific country to receive the product so e-Cop can help expand the offering in Asia-Pacific due to its strong presence across the region, Trend Micro noted.

"Through Trend Micro's custom defence services, we can help organizations adapt their response to targeted attacks [and] quickly mitigate and minize the impact," Yow Tau Keon, CEO of e-Cop Group, said in a statement. "We are confident that this strategic collaboration with Trend Micro will create greater synergy and value for our extensive portfolio of clients."
