  • Not every user of a site or an application needs complete control. The Permissions tool lets you add users to predefined groups (and apply their associated permissions) or give them individualised profiles.

     

  • SharePoint 2010's in-browser editor lets you edit wiki-style pages using the familiar wiki markup. It's easy to learn, and quicker to use than HTML — and it's easy for new users to quickly build knowledge networks out of their SharePoint pages.
