  • COMMUNICASIA, SINGAPORE--Opening Tuesday, this year's Infocomm Media Business Exchange (imbX) will feature 1,926 companies from 57 countries, with an expected turnout of 54,000 visitors.

    Here's a snapshot of what visitors can expect to see at the four-day tradeshow.

  • About 81 percent of the exhibitors at imbX hail from overseas, according to the organizers.

  • Panasonic will have a live 3D broadcast demonstration at its booth during the fair. The glasses here are non-active 3D glasses. Panasonic said its 3D TV sets will retail with a pair of active 3D shutter glasses, which are proprietary to the company's TV sets.
