  • Sony's Vaio Duo 11 has, as the name hints, an 11.6-inch screen.

    That puts it on the large side for a tablet, and the small side for an ultrabook. In a professional context, though, both could have their advantages.

    At 1.3kg, it is in line with ultrabook portability. The large touchscreen, which can be written on, could also be handy.

  • Above the ports - not much to be said there - you can see the hinge mechanism that turns the Duo 11 tablet into an ultrabook.

    Sony calls this a 'surf slider' design. It certainly seems to convert quite easily, with only one hand needed for the job.
