T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 810 is a solid Windows Phone 8 device (gallery)

Summary: Nokia did a fabulous job with the 920, but that doesn't mean you should forget the 800 series either. The Lumia 810 is a nice device that performs as well as any other Windows Phone 8 device.

  • The right side of Windows Phone devices is where all the business takes place and as you can see here the volume, power, and camera capture buttons are present.

  • Good review

I like both devices I wish the 810 had a better screen resolution but other than that its everything the 8X has to offer. Im going to the T-Mobile store today to test it out and see which one I prefer in person. I played with the 8x and 920 last week and favored the 920 obviously.

I'm leaning toward the Lumia 810 due to Nokia offering the extra exclusive apps and my assumption is they will continue to offer new apps first.
  • Couldn't you wait to get home? :)

Hi Matthew, thanks for the review. However, I was just wondering why are the snaps taken on the sidewalk/street? Couldn't you wait to get home/office before you started using/reviewing the phone?
Not that it degrades your review, but a better background to the phones would have been just visually better.

    Take care,
  • Great photo review

The 810 appears to have a better camera than the HTC's 8x. Every photo I've seen with the 8x is clean but the lighting doesn't look right and colors appear washed out. The 810 isn't a 920 but its pretty darn good. This is nice phone I think my wife would like one of these for Christmas to replace her old HD7. The timing is right considering she dropped it and cracked the corner of the screen. Doh!
