@rshol You can use the following registry edit to do so: http://www.geek.com/articles/geek-pick/how-to-get-a-windows-7-start-menu-in-windows-8-20110914/ Keep in mind though, this will prevent any access to the Metro UI next time you restart. You can reverse it by changing the bit back to 1 though. In fact, after restart it removes all traces of the Metro UI, even going as far as to replace the new start icon with one just like Windows 7.
