Sounds ...

... interesting.
Hopefully Bing will become global soon... currently bing shines only in certain countries. They should roll out bing everywhere ASAP to kick google's as*
I am most interested in the faster indexing component. Bing seems to be rather slow at indexing websites other than news websites. I can understand why, because they are going to be updated much more often and have some time sensitive information, but that shouldn't mean it will take months to fully (not even fully) index websites.

Even if the algorithm Bing uses to determine relevant results is great, it won't do any good if they don't have as much possible content in their index.

Bing traffic map is lacking
HollywoodDog 7th Oct
With iPhone, the location services of iPhones that people have when driving is anonymously reported to Google. This data is used to construct traffic data so that wherever there is a sufficient amount of data, the map changes colors to report traffic flow there.

The result is traffic data on streets where DOT doesn't have any traffic sensors; local roads, etc.

Bing, unfortunately, is still just reporting what the DOT is telling it. Where I live, that means only the freeways and not surface streets.

Come on Bing, what's the holdup?
India? China? as there's no country called Asia happy
We've experienced significant impact to our Bing campaigns in October, any chance some of these changes are being implemented now?
