I won't echo the comments made by the intelligent posters. Symbols are co opted all the time. Christians didn't drop the use of the crucifix when white racists burned crosses. The use by the Nazis of Roman iconography (which America uses) shouldn't stain their original purpose. Look into books on metaphysics and find out the usage of symbols we use today. People still drive Volkswagen and Benz right?
