I have a wife and a daughter so I'll take a stab at providing a list.
- amazon kindle fire or iPad (based on budget)
- iPod touch
- iPhone or Windows Phone
- Noise cancelling headphones (I like the Panasonic set for a great value over premium brands)
- Harry Potter collection on blu-ray
- Netflix streaming or Amazon prime account (to go with the tablets mentioned)
- the new Coldplay album
- app store credit for their device of choice
- a nice speaker set or dock for their portable device
I know the females in my family would like any of these. I would too! (although I don't really listen to Coldplay much)
