Well, they're probably still living at home with mom so who cares about paying the rent?
Its not clear from the article how much more of a salary they are willing to sacrifice. If their goal is a company that is pretty flexible and edgy for a little less money I can understand that sentiment. But if they are walking into a financial institution and wanting to use their ipads at work for facebook (i.e. goof off and work only a 40 hour week) and willing to take a $10K cut.....well me as an employer will realize that you're a slacker and not worth my time.
