@CobraA1 I agree with you, apart from the automated testing = unit tests, that isn't true, you can also automate large parts of system and integration testing. But even so, it is not a replacement for also letting human testers at it, they will find things you never thought of...
Which is why the first rule of testing is, you never test you own code!
The second rule is, you write your test scripts and automated testing code BEFORE any code is written, that way, you can't be influenced by what the code actually does, just by what it is expected to do, once working correctly.
