@Stephen-B You crack me up. Where's ANY WP7 device on this list? Nowhere. Because no one is buying them. They're toys, late to the party, and terrible for productivity. Just because it has Office on it doesn't mean squat.
But go ahead, trot out the same tired comments of "fast growing app selection" (most of them are crap, RSS feed aggregates, and the same thousands of lame fart apps), "Nokia is going to be a game changer" (no it isn't), "the UI is superior to everyone else" (sure, if you like duplo blocks and scrolling top-down instead of side-to-side), so on and so forth.
Face facts: Microsoft has had years to get it right in the mobile space and they have failed repeatedly. WP7 is as much of a failure as anything else. It alienated most of the people who had been using WM6 and WM6.5 by stripping out features and is terrible in the enterprise lacking critical features that could make it worthwhile (VPN, etc.).
A year and two months into the life of the platform and no one cares about Microsoft's "social smart phone". 1.5% global market share with even less mind share, carriers not even bothering to support or market devices.
The smart phone market is a two horse race and that's not changing any time soon. Expect Win8 tablets to suffer the same problems. Microsoft keeps coming into markets years late and have never been able to catch up to leading products.
