A paradigm is considered to be whole and new if it meets at least one of the following conditions:
- it holds a position of imperial power and is sporting new apparel of unsurpassed minimalism
- it is a huge white animal with a trunk, tusks and large ears
- it is a fish, normally silver, but in this case red
- it is a large stick that IT management have got hold of the wrong end of and are now using to beat around the bush
- it's playing Russian roulette with a silver bullet in every chamber
If marketing claim it meets more than one of these conditions; for example they say it is simulaneously a fish, a large stick and a huge white animal then you almost certainly have a whole new paradigm on your hands.
