Office 2010 is the game leader and especially Outlook 2010.
Until Microsoft release Office for Linux I'd never consider using it. Open Office and Libre Office are very outdated by comparison.
Office 2010 is excellent. I wonder how they'll manage to make it even better. I'd love to see proper Facebook integration in Outlook.
It's a Personal Information Manager but so much of my communication is now dealt with on Facebook. Messages are split between e-mails for family, business and newsletters etc... but friends is solely done via Facebook Timeline and Messages now. Virtually all my friends check Facebook daily but e-mail only every few days.
Being able to seamlessly check my Facebook Messages from within Outlook and have access to Facebook Contacts would be incredibility useful. I stopped using the outdated webmail (Hotmail, Gmail) interfaces a long time ago but still have to go to Facebook.com to read my Facebook mail.
