First time I tried to run Cinnamon under Fedora 16, all I got was wallpaper. After deleting all of my Gnome related configuration directories (fortunately, my regular desktop is XFCE), I got something that looks a lot like Gnome 3 (which I detest).
Clearly, I'm missing something.
