I was all set to be flattered by your analogy, but then I realized
that, given the context of much of your blogging, the Paul
Revere to whom you're referring may not be that noble and far-
sighted American patriot who led the country's response to the
Original British Invasion but rather the front man for Paul Revere
and the Raiders, who led America's response to the Second
British Invasion. If it's the latter, I realized, you're dismissing me
as a secondary figure in a big cultural movement and, indeed,
something of a joke. Say it ain't so.
