Jesse, good spot, when I went to the FOAF specification, I also thought that was missing. Take a look at Neil Gershenfield's 'Smart Money' where money gains behavior in addition to value. Approaching the problem from one of marketing efficiency (http://www.realtea.net/too_much_info) I welcomed FOAF as it provided me with a standard way of marking up my online persona.
Before I discovered FOAF, I was busy creating my own specification that included the privacy aspect (http://www.realtea.net/Xpose_Me_Lightly) - so I think I am going to redo using the FOAF spec.
