Wouldn't expect anything less from a top notch company like Microsoft. If you notice all the exploits they are talking about are years old. Microsoft has come a long way since then to take a proactive security approach. Now there are one, maybe two patches a month. That's excellent compared to just a few years ago. Now with Vista and UAC it makes things even harder to breech the security. All in all good job on Microsoft's part to identify the problem and create a solution.
