I'm not a fan of putting constraints into whatever it is that limits movement and means virtual lock-in for sure. Still the added values of cloud IDE and application builders can surely sway votes despite that. I think at this point though, cloud computing is pretty simple and makes a lot of sense as it is new devs are the ones actively shopping around especially towards the growing SaaS march ans surely not the established ones.
