I really think that this illustrates one of the reasons that VoIP has so much momentum and is just picking up more. Because PBX solutions are increasingly based in software rather than hardware, there's more than one way to solve problems. This lets small businesses tailor their voice systems for specific purposes. And when you're using Asterisk, the effect is magnified because there are so many people with unique situations working on and contributing to the project. Great stuff!
