Is they really are tough. They stand up to some serious abuse. We've been using them for the past 4 years or so and have had guys run over them with cars and drop them in puddles of water and worse. They pretty much just keep cranking on the only thing they don't survive well is malware and virii infections and that's a function of the OS and installed software base.
