Um. Not only is this is basically just an ad for this data recovery company, but a lot of these "weird" disasters are incredibly mundane. A wildlife tracking collar was damaged in the wild? What an incredible shock! A dog knocked a USB drive off a coffee table? Alert the media!
Really, is ZDNet so desperate that this is what passes for an article? A poorly disguised, lamely written press release?
