I bought three of the 1TB drives. Two wouldn't spin up after the first time they were shut down. I got two replacements and one of those wouldn't spin up out of the box. After that, I boxed all the drives back up and took them back to the vendor for a refund. A 60% failure rate is a good way of ensuring that a customer will drop your product and never look back.
