I'm all ears for workable alternatives. Requirements: mail&calendar&contacts linked and synced to both desktop & mobile. Also must be less of a headache than Exchange.
IMO, we need new open standards. POP & IMAP are crap. A single Push protocol that handles any number of folders and message types, with unique IDs for each message.
It's 2009, Calendar sync shouldn't be this hard.
