Social networking is on its way out. People just cant keep up with the BS of having to inform the entire world what they are doing at every given moment of their life. Social networking is intrusive and its nothing more than a club. One is hot this month and dead cold the next month. Nothing beats a good old fashioned telephone and a list of references (for jobs) and your friends who you maintain some contact with. The times of needing to be "friends" with the entire world is over. People have realized that time with family is far more important than time updating that absurd thing called twitter. Myspace is nothing more than sex, drugs and rock and roll. If my investigations find an applicant on myspace - they've lost the position they applied for. I want none of that crap. Facebook - incredibly stupid. I want my employees worrying about working, not instant messaging and chatting and updating their blogs or social networks. And if you think I am alone in this though, you're sorely mistaken.
