But frankly, the power of the web 2.0 is not limited to the web but Intranet.
For example, several companies relies in a copy of a excel sheet for some vital works, Excel is powerful and can generate nice graphics and evaluations, but is single-user, its limited to the amount of information (you don't want to manage 1 million of registry on it), and if the excel sheet become corrupt.. then you can kiss bye all the information. Instead, think in a intranet application that (without much effort) can manage million of registry, and can be accessed in a nice form, then later you can show a report from the 2006-2007 without needing to tweak the graphics, and the best part, is you can do it in a netbook, inside (and in some case) also outside the local network.
Remember, while Web 2.0 can contain blogs, community, wiki and some "open for everyone" concept, but it is not mandatory. Some mistakes is to try to create a customer community where your business will not obtain nothing from a group of users around you, or even worst, a group of users altogether discouraging about your product and/or service.
