This would be fascinating, if Blizzard did not announce this information four years ago.
They stated that they were working on another MMO before World of Warcraft's second expansion pack, "Burning Crusade" had entered public beta. They said even then that this would be a completely new franchise not related to any existing Blizzard franchise.
