I'd like to invite you to give Cucku Backup a try.
It's a peer-to-peer solution that includes both
sneakernet and remote backup. You export the initial
backup to an external hard drive, import on a second
system (friend, family member, second PC) and then new
changes files are sent automatically via Skype.
