To be honest, I think these are pretty broad and apply to
most IT projects. Aside from the generic factors, I would
challenge the idea that there is a set of common failures
that we can boil down to.

I think we also have to acknowledge another factor, which
is a lack of long-term commitment from consultants and
vendors who push E2.0. To really succeed and be
impactful can take 3-5 years. How many of us can say that
we have the patience to stick with projects for that long to
see them through?

I enjoyed your workshop at E2.0 Boston. Good stuff. But
on the whole, I think we all need to write less and do more
