Our library, too, has thousands of e-books for 21-day loan. As soon as I heard the new Sony reader could handle them, I started looking for a way to get on the waiting list. Our family's two Kindle 2's have been wonderful, but we are now reading so much (2 books a week each) that we'll get paid back for new readers really fast. Besides, our property taxes have already paid for the library copies!
