Great article Oliver, thank you. With the rapid growth of the SaaS market, combined with consumer's desire for choice, I see the future of applications, both for consumers and business, being SaaS. Ultimately, a customer will be able to pick and choose which applications work best for them, and can easily integrate them together. Doing a SaaS play makes a lot of sense for companies as well. SaaS is much easier to maintain, can be distributed at a much lower cost, and updates are rolled out to all customers at once.
