Power outages, internet bandwidth restrictions and upload/download caps, etc. are all detremental to that kind of solution.
Additionally, when you put your data on someone else's server, if they have a server go down, your stuff is not available. If their servers get hacked, your stuff is now someone else's stuff.
The only truly secure location is on an encrypted thumb drive in your pocket, and only as long as you don't lose it.
If you're connected to the internet, and putting all your data there and relying upon that to always be there, especially for businesses, you are vulnerable.
