I downloaded and used firefox insted of internet explorer on xp recently, and got a quick popup from Microsoft demanding that I allow them to put a "link" on my firefox. I refused and they threatened to label my xp an illegal copy until I agreed to allow the "link" on firefox. I still refused to allow their link, and darned if Microsoft didn't plaster a big notice on my wallpaper that my xp was "illegal". Every computer in this house then had the harddrives scrubbed of anything Microsoft and Linux Mint installed. There are no more problems, and it's nice having Microsoft OUT of our computers. Microsoft is way too big for it's britches.
